Closed Captioning Services Elgin

Yes, and work from Elgin is handled entirely online: files are uploaded or shared as a link, and the finished work returns by email. Clients across Illinois order the same way and pay the same published rates as anywhere else. A single short video is a normal order here, including a trailer or a social cut.

There is no office to visit. Upload, email or share a cloud link, and the finished closed captioning is returned by email, usually without anyone needing to speak to you at all unless something in the material needs a decision. Clients across Illinois work this way, and so do clients nowhere near it.

Three steps: send the material, approve the quote, receive the finished work by email. Nothing starts before you approve the price, and revisions are free for 30 days after delivery. Say where the captions will play - broadcast, a streaming platform, a learning system, social - because each sets its own standard. Upload from anywhere in Illinois, because there is no office in Elgin to visit, no appointment and nothing to post.

All of the usual methods are accepted: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, Square, wire transfer and checks. Businesses can be invoiced monthly against a purchase order, and everyone else pays on approving the quote. Clients in Elgin pay exactly as clients elsewhere do, with no local surcharge and no handling fee.

Revisions are free for 30 days after delivery. Tell us which page, line or timestamp is wrong and a corrected file comes back, usually the same day. A local name or address written differently in Elgin from the way it was set down is a correction, not a dispute - say so and it is fixed.

Captioning is quoted per minute of runtime. What moves the figure is the runtime, whether the audio has to be timed from scratch and the caption standard you publish to, so the quote is built from your actual files and not from a rate card. Being in Elgin changes nothing about the rate, because the same published prices apply across Illinois and everywhere else. The rate follows the runtime of the video, not the number of caption lines the finished file contains. You get an exact total in writing before anything starts.

Rush delivery within 2 to 24 hours is available, and the delivery time is confirmed in writing before you pay. Because orders from Elgin are handled online, nothing waits on a courier, an appointment or office hours. If a deadline cannot be met you are told at quoting stage, not on the day.

The 99+% accuracy standard applies to every file, and it holds because each caption file is produced by a person and then played back against the picture by a second reviewer. Local detail is where a distant supplier slips - street names in Elgin, the institutions around it, the bodies people file with across Illinois - so those are checked against the source. Every file is played back on screen before release, because a caption that reads correctly can still land on the wrong shot. Anything genuinely unclear is flagged for you, never guessed at.

Only the people doing the work can open your material, and all of them are under NDA. A lot of what arrives from Elgin comes from the Kane County courts and immigration practitioners, where the material is sensitive, so restricted access is the default. Unreleased video is routine here, so review links are restricted and nothing is held longer than the project needs. Transfer is encrypted in both directions, and deletion on an agreed schedule can be set up where your records require it.

SRT, VTT, SCC, STL or a burned-in version, built to the specification of the platform you publish on. One source file can produce several formats in the same order. Everything is returned by email in the format you asked for, which is why clients in Elgin never need to collect anything.
