Closed Captioning Services Buffalo

Yes, and work from Buffalo is handled entirely online: files are uploaded or shared as a link, and the finished work returns by email. Clients across New York order the same way and pay the same published rates as anywhere else. A single short video is a normal order here, including a trailer or a social cut.

Yes, in 100+ languages. Around Buffalo the usual ones are Spanish, Arabic, Burmese, Somali and Karen, each handled by a native speaker and checked by a second one. The language changes who does the closed captioning, not what is delivered or what it costs.

The 99+% accuracy standard applies to every file, and it holds because each caption file is produced by a person and then played back against the picture by a second reviewer. Local detail is where a distant supplier slips - street names in Buffalo, the institutions around it, the bodies people file with across New York - so those are checked against the source. Every file is played back on screen before release, because a caption that reads correctly can still land on the wrong shot. Anything genuinely unclear is flagged for you, never guessed at.

Access is the control that matters, so it is kept to the assigned pair and nobody else. A lot of what arrives from Buffalo comes from Erie County courts and a long-established legal community, where the material is sensitive, so restricted access is the default. Unreleased video is routine here, so review links are restricted and nothing is held longer than the project needs. Transfer is encrypted, every person involved is under NDA, and files are deleted on request once you no longer need them held.

Whichever the platform requires: SRT, VTT, SCC, STL or burned in. Everything is returned by email in the format you asked for, which is why clients in Buffalo never need to collect anything. Several formats can come out of one order, so the same material reaches a streaming service, a broadcaster and a learning platform without being rebuilt.

Send the files or a link, say what you need and when, and an exact quote comes back within minutes. Once you approve it the work goes to a captioner suited to the material. Say where the captions will play - broadcast, a streaming platform, a learning system, social - because each sets its own standard. Upload from anywhere in New York, because there is no office in Buffalo to visit, no appointment and nothing to post. Revisions are free for 30 days after delivery.

All of the usual methods are accepted: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, Square, wire transfer and checks. Businesses can be invoiced monthly against a purchase order, and everyone else pays on approving the quote. Clients in Buffalo pay exactly as clients elsewhere do, with no local surcharge and no handling fee.

No. Closed captioning moves online in both directions, so a client in Buffalo and a client three states away are handled identically, and this site is built around caption files built to the standard the platform or the regulator requires. Material that exists only on physical media is the one exception, and collection is arranged for it.

Captioning is quoted per minute of runtime. What moves the figure is the runtime, whether the audio has to be timed from scratch and the caption standard you publish to, so the quote is built from your actual files and not from a rate card. The rate follows the runtime of the video, not the number of caption lines the finished file contains. Being in Buffalo changes nothing about the rate, because the same published prices apply across New York and everywhere else. You get an exact total in writing before anything starts.

Rush delivery within 2 to 24 hours is available, and the delivery time is confirmed in writing before you pay. Timing is set by hand against the audio, so the schedule follows the real runtime of the video and not an estimate. Because orders from Buffalo are handled online, nothing waits on a courier, an appointment or office hours. If a deadline cannot be met you are told at quoting stage, not on the day.
