Closed Captioning Services Cincinnati

Yes. Closed captioning is ordered here exactly as it is anywhere else - upload the material, approve the written quote, receive the finished work by email. There is no office in Cincinnati to visit, no appointment to book and no premium for being in Ohio.

The regular sources of closed captioning work here are consumer-goods and manufacturing headquarters; Hamilton County courts and regional law firms; and hospitals and medical research centres. Each has its own formatting expectations, and those are agreed at quoting stage, which is what stops a first delivery coming back for rework.

Whichever the platform requires: SRT, VTT, SCC, STL or burned in. Everything is returned by email in the format you asked for, which is why clients in Cincinnati never need to collect anything. Several formats can come out of one order, so the same material reaches a streaming service, a broadcaster and a learning platform without being rebuilt.

Most closed captioning orders here connect to Hamilton County courts and regional law firms. A steady stream also comes from consumer-goods and manufacturing headquarters. The recurring risk on this material is a caption that lands late or a speaker change that is never marked, which is why a second reviewer checks the file against the source before it is sent.

Yes, in 100+ languages. Around Cincinnati the usual ones are Spanish, Mandarin and Arabic, each handled by a native speaker and checked by a second one. The language changes who does the closed captioning, not what is delivered or what it costs.

No visit is needed. Files are uploaded through the site, emailed, or shared from cloud storage, and the finished closed captioning comes back the same way, which is why clients well outside Cincinnati use the service on the same terms. The one exception is material that exists only on tape, disc or a memory card, and collection can be arranged for that.

Captioning is quoted per minute of runtime. The rate follows the runtime of the video, not the number of caption lines the finished file contains. Being in Cincinnati changes nothing about the rate, because the same published prices apply across Ohio and everywhere else. Quotes are calculated from the runtime, whether the audio has to be timed from scratch and the caption standard you publish to, so two clients sending comparable material pay the same, and nothing begins until you approve the written total.

You are given a date, not a range: rush delivery within 2 to 24 hours where it is urgent, and a firm delivery time in the quote where it is not. Timing is set by hand against the audio, so the schedule follows the real runtime of the video and not an estimate. Because orders from Cincinnati are handled online, nothing waits on a courier, an appointment or office hours.

The 99+% accuracy standard comes from human work plus an independent check: one captioner produces the file, and then a second reviewer plays the file back against the picture. Local detail is where a distant supplier slips - street names in Cincinnati, the institutions around it, the bodies people file with across Ohio - so those are checked against the source. Every file is played back on screen before release, because a caption that reads correctly can still land on the wrong shot. That second pass is what catches a caption that lands late or a speaker change that is never marked.

Files are handled under NDA, moved through encrypted transfer and seen only by the assigned team. A lot of what arrives from Cincinnati comes from Hamilton County courts and regional law firms, where the material is sensitive, so restricted access is the default. They can also be deleted on an agreed schedule after delivery, with written confirmation.
