Closed Captioning Services Columbia

Yes. Closed captioning is available to anyone in Columbia and across South Carolina, on the same published rates and the same turnaround as everywhere else. Files move in and out online, so where you are makes no difference to the price, the deadline or who does the work.

Yes. The closed captioning requests that come up most around Columbia are Spanish and Gujarati, and 100+ other languages are available. Every file goes to a native speaker of the language, and material that switches language partway through is kept as it was.

Rush delivery within 2 to 24 hours is available, and the delivery time is confirmed in writing before you pay. Because orders from Columbia are handled online, nothing waits on a courier, an appointment or office hours. If a deadline cannot be met you are told at quoting stage, not on the day.

Work is done by human captioners and played back against the picture before it is sent, which is how the 99+% accuracy standard is met. Local detail is where a distant supplier slips - street names in Columbia, the institutions around it, the bodies people file with across South Carolina - so those are checked against the source. Every file is played back on screen before release, because a caption that reads correctly can still land on the wrong shot. One person working alone would not catch a caption that lands late or a speaker change that is never marked.

Yes. Everyone who touches your material signs an NDA, transfer is encrypted, and access is limited to the people assigned to the job, usually one captioner and one reviewer. Unreleased video is routine here, so review links are restricted and nothing is held longer than the project needs. A lot of what arrives from Columbia comes from Richland County courts, where the material is sensitive, so restricted access is the default. Your own agreement can be signed before the first file is sent.

Whichever the platform requires: SRT, VTT, SCC, STL or burned in. Caption files are delivered to the standard of the platform you publish on, whether that is SRT, VTT, SCC or STL. Everything is returned by email in the format you asked for, which is why clients in Columbia never need to collect anything. Several formats can come out of one order, so the same material reaches a streaming service, a broadcaster and a learning platform without being rebuilt.

Upload or share a link, and the quote follows within minutes. Upload from anywhere in South Carolina, because there is no office in Columbia to visit, no appointment and nothing to post. A style note or template sent with the files is applied from the first delivery.

All of the usual methods are accepted: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, Square, wire transfer and checks. Businesses can be invoiced monthly against a purchase order, and everyone else pays on approving the quote. Clients in Columbia pay exactly as clients elsewhere do, with no local surcharge and no handling fee. Production teams and publishers are usually invoiced per project or per series instead of per file.

No visit is needed. Files are uploaded through the site, emailed, or shared from cloud storage, and the finished closed captioning comes back the same way, which is why clients well outside Columbia use the service on the same terms. The one exception is material that exists only on tape, disc or a memory card, and collection can be arranged for that.

Captioning is quoted per minute of runtime, with volume pricing once a project passes an agreed size. The quote for closed captioning in Columbia is worked out from the runtime, whether the audio has to be timed from scratch and the caption standard you publish to. Being in Columbia changes nothing about the rate, because the same published prices apply across South Carolina and everywhere else. Send the material and the figure comes back within minutes.
