Closed Captioning Services Downey

Yes. Closed captioning is ordered here exactly as it is anywhere else - upload the material, approve the written quote, receive the finished work by email. There is no office in Downey to visit, no appointment to book and no premium for being in California.

No. Closed captioning moves online in both directions, so a client in Downey and a client three states away are handled identically, and this site is built around caption files built to the standard the platform or the regulator requires. Material that exists only on physical media is the one exception, and collection is arranged for it.

Point out the passage and it is corrected at no charge, because revisions are free for 30 days after delivery. A local name or address written differently in Downey from the way it was set down is a correction, not a dispute - say so and it is fixed. Work that goes beyond the original brief, such as a different template or a new style, is quoted before it starts.

Captioning is quoted per minute of runtime. Being in Downey changes nothing about the rate, because the same published prices apply across California and everywhere else. The rate follows the runtime of the video, not the number of caption lines the finished file contains. Quotes are calculated from the runtime, whether the audio has to be timed from scratch and the caption standard you publish to, so two clients sending comparable material pay the same, and nothing begins until you approve the written total.

Rush delivery within 2 to 24 hours is available, and the delivery time is confirmed in writing before you pay. Because orders from Downey are handled online, nothing waits on a courier, an appointment or office hours. If a deadline cannot be met you are told at quoting stage, not on the day.

The standard is 99+%, reached by doing the job twice: one person produces the file, and a second checks it before release. Every file is played back on screen before release, because a caption that reads correctly can still land on the wrong shot. Local detail is where a distant supplier slips - street names in Downey, the institutions around it, the bodies people file with across California - so those are checked against the source.

It is handled by restricting access, not by promising discretion. Unreleased video is routine here, so review links are restricted and nothing is held longer than the project needs. A lot of what arrives from Downey comes from the Los Angeles County courts and immigration practitioners, where the material is sensitive, so restricted access is the default. Everyone on the job is under NDA, transfer is encrypted, and your own confidentiality agreement is signed before work starts if you have one.

Whichever the platform requires: SRT, VTT, SCC, STL or burned in. Everything is returned by email in the format you asked for, which is why clients in Downey never need to collect anything. Caption files are delivered to the standard of the platform you publish on, whether that is SRT, VTT, SCC or STL. Several formats can come out of one order, so the same material reaches a streaming service, a broadcaster and a learning platform without being rebuilt.

Send the files or a link, say what you need and when, and an exact quote comes back within minutes. Once you approve it the work goes to a captioner suited to the material. Upload from anywhere in California, because there is no office in Downey to visit, no appointment and nothing to post. Revisions are free for 30 days after delivery.

By card, PayPal, Square, wire transfer or check, or on a monthly invoice where your finance team prefers one. Clients in Downey pay exactly as clients elsewhere do, with no local surcharge and no handling fee. Quotes are issued in writing and the invoice never exceeds the figure you approved.
