Closed Captioning Services in Fairfield, California

Yes, and work from Fairfield is handled entirely online: files are uploaded or shared as a link, and the finished work returns by email. Clients across California order the same way and pay the same published rates as anywhere else. A single short video is a normal order here, including a trailer or a social cut.

The regular sources of closed captioning work here are food and beverage processing plants and the growers who supply them; the Solano County courts and county government offices; and the Travis Air Force Base community, logistics operators and clinics. Each has its own formatting expectations, and those are agreed at quoting stage, which is what stops a first delivery coming back for rework.

SRT or VTT for web and streaming, SCC or STL for broadcast, or burned in where a platform strips subtitle files. Caption files are delivered to the standard of the platform you publish on, whether that is SRT, VTT, SCC or STL. Everything is returned by email in the format you asked for, which is why clients in Fairfield never need to collect anything. The target format is confirmed before work starts, because retiming afterwards costs more than getting the specification right first.

Most of it is tied to the Solano County courts and county government offices, and much of the rest comes from food and beverage processing plants and the growers who supply them. Whatever the source, the caption file has to get names, addresses and institutions from Fairfield right, so those are verified against the record and never approximated from a distance.

Yes. The closed captioning requests that come up most around Fairfield are Spanish, Tagalog and Punjabi, and 100+ other languages are available. Every file goes to a native speaker of the language, and material that switches language partway through is kept as it was.

No. Closed captioning moves online in both directions, so a client in Fairfield and a client three states away are handled identically, and this site is built around caption files built to the standard the platform or the regulator requires. Material that exists only on physical media is the one exception, and collection is arranged for it.

Captioning is quoted per minute of runtime. What moves the figure is the runtime, whether the audio has to be timed from scratch and the caption standard you publish to, so the quote is built from your actual files and not from a rate card. Being in Fairfield changes nothing about the rate, because the same published prices apply across California and everywhere else. The rate follows the runtime of the video, not the number of caption lines the finished file contains. You get an exact total in writing before anything starts.

It depends on length and on how difficult the source is, and the time is in the quote before you commit. Rush delivery within 2 to 24 hours covers the urgent end. Because orders from Fairfield are handled online, nothing waits on a courier, an appointment or office hours.

The 99+% accuracy standard applies to every file, and it holds because each caption file is produced by a person and then played back against the picture by a second reviewer. Every file is played back on screen before release, because a caption that reads correctly can still land on the wrong shot. Local detail is where a distant supplier slips - street names in Fairfield, the institutions around it, the bodies people file with across California - so those are checked against the source. Anything genuinely unclear is flagged for you, never guessed at.

Access is the control that matters, so it is kept to the assigned pair and nobody else. Unreleased video is routine here, so review links are restricted and nothing is held longer than the project needs. A lot of what arrives from Fairfield comes from the Solano County courts and county government offices, where the material is sensitive, so restricted access is the default. Transfer is encrypted, every person involved is under NDA, and files are deleted on request once you no longer need them held.
