Closed Captioning Services in Naperville, Illinois

Yes, and work from Naperville is handled entirely online: files are uploaded or shared as a link, and the finished work returns by email. Clients across Illinois order the same way and pay the same published rates as anywhere else. A single short video is a normal order here, including a trailer or a social cut.

Yes. The closed captioning requests that come up most around Naperville are Hindi, Gujarati, Mandarin, Korean and Spanish, and 100+ other languages are available. Every file goes to a native speaker of the language, and material that switches language partway through is kept as it was.

Work is done by human captioners and played back against the picture before it is sent, which is how the 99+% accuracy standard is met. Every file is played back on screen before release, because a caption that reads correctly can still land on the wrong shot. Local detail is where a distant supplier slips - street names in Naperville, the institutions around it, the bodies people file with across Illinois - so those are checked against the source. One person working alone would not catch a caption that lands late or a speaker change that is never marked.

Only the people doing the work can open your material, and all of them are under NDA. Unreleased video is routine here, so review links are restricted and nothing is held longer than the project needs. A lot of what arrives from Naperville comes from the DuPage County courts and the corporate and family-law practices nearby, where the material is sensitive, so restricted access is the default. Transfer is encrypted in both directions, and deletion on an agreed schedule can be set up where your records require it.

SRT, VTT, SCC, STL or a burned-in version, built to the specification of the platform you publish on. One source file can produce several formats in the same order. Everything is returned by email in the format you asked for, which is why clients in Naperville never need to collect anything. Caption files are delivered to the standard of the platform you publish on, whether that is SRT, VTT, SCC or STL.

Upload or share a link, and the quote follows within minutes. Say where the captions will play - broadcast, a streaming platform, a learning system, social - because each sets its own standard. Upload from anywhere in Illinois, because there is no office in Naperville to visit, no appointment and nothing to post. A style note or template sent with the files is applied from the first delivery.

By card, PayPal, Square, wire transfer or check, or on a monthly invoice where your finance team prefers one. Production teams and publishers are usually invoiced per project or per series instead of per file. Clients in Naperville pay exactly as clients elsewhere do, with no local surcharge and no handling fee. Quotes are issued in writing and the invoice never exceeds the figure you approved.

No visit is needed. Files are uploaded through the site, emailed, or shared from cloud storage, and the finished closed captioning comes back the same way, which is why clients well outside Naperville use the service on the same terms. The one exception is material that exists only on tape, disc or a memory card, and collection can be arranged for that.

Captioning is quoted per minute of runtime. What moves the figure is the runtime, whether the audio has to be timed from scratch and the caption standard you publish to, so the quote is built from your actual files and not from a rate card. The rate follows the runtime of the video, not the number of caption lines the finished file contains. Being in Naperville changes nothing about the rate, because the same published prices apply across Illinois and everywhere else. You get an exact total in writing before anything starts.

Urgent work is covered by rush delivery within 2 to 24 hours, depending on length and how difficult the source is. Because orders from Naperville are handled online, nothing waits on a courier, an appointment or office hours. Timing is set by hand against the audio, so the schedule follows the real runtime of the video and not an estimate. Longer jobs are split across a coordinated team working from one style sheet, so speed never costs consistency.
