Closed Captioning Services in Olathe, Kansas

Yes, and work from Olathe is handled entirely online: files are uploaded or shared as a link, and the finished work returns by email. Clients across Kansas order the same way and pay the same published rates as anywhere else. A single short video is a normal order here, including a trailer or a social cut.

There is no office to visit. Upload, email or share a cloud link, and the finished closed captioning is returned by email, usually without anyone needing to speak to you at all unless something in the material needs a decision. Clients across Kansas work this way, and so do clients nowhere near it.

It is handled by restricting access, not by promising discretion. A lot of what arrives from Olathe comes from the Johnson County courts and the county offices seated in the city, where the material is sensitive, so restricted access is the default. Everyone on the job is under NDA, transfer is encrypted, and your own confidentiality agreement is signed before work starts if you have one.

SRT or VTT for web and streaming, SCC or STL for broadcast, or burned in where a platform strips subtitle files. Caption files are delivered to the standard of the platform you publish on, whether that is SRT, VTT, SCC or STL. Everything is returned by email in the format you asked for, which is why clients in Olathe never need to collect anything. The target format is confirmed before work starts, because retiming afterwards costs more than getting the specification right first.

Upload or share a link, and the quote follows within minutes. Upload from anywhere in Kansas, because there is no office in Olathe to visit, no appointment and nothing to post. A style note or template sent with the files is applied from the first delivery.

Payment is by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, Square, wire transfer and checks, and businesses and institutions can be set up on monthly invoicing instead of paying per job. Clients in Olathe pay exactly as clients elsewhere do, with no local surcharge and no handling fee. The price you approve in the written quote is the price you are charged.

Send it back and it is fixed at no cost: revisions are free for 30 days after delivery. If the video is re-cut, the existing captions are conformed to the new edit instead of being captioned again from scratch. A local name or address written differently in Olathe from the way it was set down is a correction, not a dispute - say so and it is fixed. Where a preference differs from ours, yours is applied and not argued over.

Captioning is quoted per minute of runtime, with volume pricing once a project passes an agreed size. The quote for closed captioning in Olathe is worked out from the runtime, whether the audio has to be timed from scratch and the caption standard you publish to. Being in Olathe changes nothing about the rate, because the same published prices apply across Kansas and everywhere else. Send the material and the figure comes back within minutes.

It depends on length and on how difficult the source is, and the time is in the quote before you commit. Rush delivery within 2 to 24 hours covers the urgent end. Because orders from Olathe are handled online, nothing waits on a courier, an appointment or office hours.

Work is done by human captioners and played back against the picture before it is sent, which is how the 99+% accuracy standard is met. Every file is played back on screen before release, because a caption that reads correctly can still land on the wrong shot. Local detail is where a distant supplier slips - street names in Olathe, the institutions around it, the bodies people file with across Kansas - so those are checked against the source. One person working alone would not catch a caption that lands late or a speaker change that is never marked.
