Closed Captioning Services in Jacksonville, Florida

Yes. Closed captioning is ordered here exactly as it is anywhere else - upload the material, approve the written quote, receive the finished work by email. There is no office in Jacksonville to visit, no appointment to book and no premium for being in Florida.

No. Closed captioning moves online in both directions, so a client in Jacksonville and a client three states away are handled identically, and this site is built around caption files built to the standard the platform or the regulator requires. Material that exists only on physical media is the one exception, and collection is arranged for it.

Rush delivery within 2 to 24 hours is available, and the delivery time is confirmed in writing before you pay. Timing is set by hand against the audio, so the schedule follows the real runtime of the video and not an estimate. Because orders from Jacksonville are handled online, nothing waits on a courier, an appointment or office hours. If a deadline cannot be met you are told at quoting stage, not on the day.

Work is done by human captioners and played back against the picture before it is sent, which is how the 99+% accuracy standard is met. Every file is played back on screen before release, because a caption that reads correctly can still land on the wrong shot. Local detail is where a distant supplier slips - street names in Jacksonville, the institutions around it, the bodies people file with across Florida - so those are checked against the source. One person working alone would not catch a caption that lands late or a speaker change that is never marked.

Only the people doing the work can open your material, and all of them are under NDA. Unreleased video is routine here, so review links are restricted and nothing is held longer than the project needs. A lot of what arrives from Jacksonville comes from the Duval County and federal courts, and the practices that file downtown, where the material is sensitive, so restricted access is the default. Transfer is encrypted in both directions, and deletion on an agreed schedule can be set up where your records require it.

SRT, VTT, SCC, STL or a burned-in version, built to the specification of the platform you publish on. One source file can produce several formats in the same order. Caption files are delivered to the standard of the platform you publish on, whether that is SRT, VTT, SCC or STL. Everything is returned by email in the format you asked for, which is why clients in Jacksonville never need to collect anything.

Send the files or a link, say what you need and when, and an exact quote comes back within minutes. Once you approve it the work goes to a captioner suited to the material. Upload from anywhere in Florida, because there is no office in Jacksonville to visit, no appointment and nothing to post. Say where the captions will play - broadcast, a streaming platform, a learning system, social - because each sets its own standard. Revisions are free for 30 days after delivery.

Payment is by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, Square, wire transfer and checks, and businesses and institutions can be set up on monthly invoicing instead of paying per job. Clients in Jacksonville pay exactly as clients elsewhere do, with no local surcharge and no handling fee. Production teams and publishers are usually invoiced per project or per series instead of per file. The price you approve in the written quote is the price you are charged.

Send it back and it is fixed at no cost: revisions are free for 30 days after delivery. A local name or address written differently in Jacksonville from the way it was set down is a correction, not a dispute - say so and it is fixed. If the video is re-cut, the existing captions are conformed to the new edit instead of being captioned again from scratch. Where a preference differs from ours, yours is applied and not argued over.

Captioning is quoted per minute of runtime. Being in Jacksonville changes nothing about the rate, because the same published prices apply across Florida and everywhere else. The rate follows the runtime of the video, not the number of caption lines the finished file contains. Nothing starts before you approve that figure in writing, and the invoice matches it exactly.
